Come and Learn to do Scottish Dancing. Great exercise and great fun

By | November 24, 2017

Every Monday evening in the Scottish Hall, Shelbourne Road, Charminster,  we have a dance class and all ages are welcome.  Complete beginners from 7pm until 8.45 … then dancing for more experienced dancers until 10pm.   Our teacher is Sue Ramsay.

Cost per person is £3.50 to include refreshments.

Every Thursday evening we have a social evening when we also try to fit in some dancing.  Scots and all are welcome.

Come and make friends in the Scottish Hall.  We have St Andrew’s buffet dance coming up this Thursday 30th and soon it will be Hogmanay… when we have a real Scottish New Year.   This is closely followed by Burns Night on January 25th 2018.

Come and have a real BURNS NIGHT with the Scots of Bournemouth.  We are honoured that the Mayor & Mayoress will be coming.  Tickets are open to all.  £18 to include Haggis, neeps and tatties , songs and poems by Burns and Scottish country dancing which Robert Burns himself went to classes to learn.
